Student Financial Resource Center
Welcome to the Student Financial Resource Center (SFRC). The SFRC is here to provide students with access to public, community, and college resources. These are resources that will assist students with remaining in college and on track to complete their program of study. The SFRC will Educate, Connect and help students Navigate these resources to ensure support is provided in a timely and respectful manner.

Pantry Services
Panther Food Pantry: Provides nutritious food options twice a month to PVCC students. For more information and to access these services please click the link.
Panther Snack Pantry: Have you tried taking a test on an empty stomach or maybe you got off work late so you didn't have time to grab dinner before class. The new Snack Pantry has been created to assist in these situations. Stop by the SFRC and pick up a granola bar, trail mix, fruit, and other items.
Panther Clothing Closet: The clothing closet provides no-cost clothing and shoes for PVCC students.
PVCC will host its annual pop-up "Panther Boutique" in March to help students prepare for the PVCC Job Fair. Donations for this event will be accepted the entire month of March. Please contact the SFRC for more information on how to make a clothing donation.

Food, Housing, Mental Health Services, etc.
Virginia 211 is a resource for all residents of Virginia that provides information on basic needs: food, housing, mental health services, and more. Individuals who are seeking these services may obtain access to these services three ways:
- Look online at https://www.211virginia.org/ . You can search for resources based on your where you live.
- Call 2-1-1 hotline, where you can obtain information 24 hours a day.
- Contact the Student Financial Resource Center, where we will assist you in searching the available resources to meet your needs.

New Health Coverage For Adults
If you applied for Medicaid in the past and were denied, you may now be eligible. Applications will be accepted starting November 1, 2019 For more information about the new coverage, including answers to frequently asked questions, visit Cover Virginia.
